Has
your Pastor ever raised these words of Peter before?
2Pe
1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that
pertain
unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath
called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe
1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having
escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
I
didn't think so.
You
are being presented with a false Gospel message, a message which
eliminates an actual redemption (release/rescue/ransom) from ALL
iniquity and the establishment of purity of heart by which we are
made zealous for righteousness.
Tit
2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all
iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good
works.
You
are being presented with a message where it is taught that Jesus
basically swapped places with you. You are taught that Jesus is your
SUBSTITUTE.
You
are taught...
- Jesus dying on your behalf effected a PAYMENT of the penalty your owe for your sin, thus with the payment not being due anymore you are no longer subject to the wrath of God.
- The righteousness of Jesus is credited to your account by faith, so that when God looks at you He sees the righteousness of Jesus and not your actual unrighteousness.
You
are being lied to! Jesus is
not your substitute! JESUS IS YOUR EXAMPLE.
1Pe
2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered
for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
1Pet
2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
1 Pe
2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered,
he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth
righteously:
1Pe
2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that
we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose
striped ye were healed.
...
1Pe
3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the
unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the
flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
…
1Pe
4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm
yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he
that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
1Pe
4:2 That he no longer should
live the rest of his
time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
Jesus
taught...
Joh
12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall
into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth
forth much fruit.
Joh
12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his
life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
YOU
MUST DIE WITH JESUS – JESUS WAS YOUR EXAMPLE
Paul
taught...
...Shall
we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom
6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer
therein?
Rom
6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus
Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom
6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like
as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,
even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom
6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his
death, we shall be also in the
likeness
of his
resurrection:
Rom
6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him,
that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should
not serve sin.
Rom
6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
The
above words are NOT POSITIONAL, the context is that of MANIFEST
BEHAVIOUR. This is why Paul wrote...
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom
6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye
have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered
you.
Rom
6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of
righteousness.
You
are a slave to whom YOU obey.
It
is the implanted word which saves the soul and in order to receive it
you MUST lay aside ALL filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness and
become a DOER of the Word (Jas 1:21-22). Faith is the ACTIVE
PRINCIPLE through which we wholeheartedly yield to God resulting in
a TOTAL HEART TRANSFORMATION by His grace. FAITH = DOING.
Your
teachers are deceived and preaching a false Gospel message which
gives those whom refuse to crucify their lusts a measure of comfort
in their rebellion. If this was not the case then the professing
Christians would not be engaged in adultery with the world and there
would be no willful sin amongst those professing to be saved. False
teachers have twisted the REAL reason as to why Jesus died on the
cross (see Heb 2:14-18, Heb 9:14-16, Heb 10:9-22, Tit 2:14, 1Pe 2:21,
1Pe 3:18, 2Cor 5:15-6:1). The false teachers have also twisted the
meanings of faith, grace, repentance and salvation.
Paul
warned of this DAY AND NIGHT FOR THREE YEARS WITH TEARS.
Act
20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves
enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Act
20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse
things, to draw away disciples after them.
Act
20:31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by
the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day
with tears.

CONSIDER
GOOD TRACT..NOT ONE SEED OF DOUBT OF 'WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED'...But as you know people are hardened stone cold to read any thing they git on the street these days..thanks to centurys of heretics.
ReplyDeleteThis tract leads to hell. the unsaved person who created it is in hell. Salvation is by grace. Therefore, one work added to grace sends the sinner to hell. Romans 11:6, Galatians 3:8-12. If you want to go to hell, do as this tract says, reject Jesus, trust in yourself, and battabing, you will land in hell when you die. Revelation 20:13-15. Galatians 2:16. KJV. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. For true salvation, trust Christ alone for the free gift of everlasting life. Jesus said in John 6:47. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
