Jesus was not a separate person from God. He was\is God, and has always been God. I do agree there is one God. But the one God exists as 3 Persons.

There is a hierarchy of Father, Son, Holy Spirit. But the scriptures show that all are equally God. Jesus is the eternal Son of God. He did pre-exist as a Person according to these scriptures.

1. He existed before the world existed.

John 17:5
And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.

2. He claimed to be the I am.

John 8:56-58
Your father Abraham was overjoyed that he would see My day, and he saw it and rejoiced.” 57 So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”

3. This sounds like a pre-existent Person to me.

Philippians 2:5-8
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross.

4. Another personable attribute is watching something happen.

Luke 10:17-18
Now the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!” 18 And He said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning.

5. The world was created by Him

Hebrews 1:1-2
God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the world.

6. We have here God as a Person speaking to God as a Person of His Glory, Righteousness, and marvelous works He has done. (What a powerful and humbling passage of Scripture)

Hebrews 1:8-11

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00362866444203211243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7364445161929182611.post-1759917610174670822020-06-06T03:00:04.050-07:002020-06-06T03:00:04.050-07:00Your view is not biblical thats all. God knows everything so he can't learn. He is from all eternity. The Bible teaches that God is all-knowing or omniscient. The word "omniscient" comes from two Latin words omnis signifying all, and scientia signifying knowledge. When we say that God is omniscient it means that He has perfect knowledge of all things. He does not have to learn anything and He has not forgotten anything. God does not have to reason things out, find out things, or learn them gradually. He knows everything that has happened and everything that will happen. God also knows every potential thing that might happen. God even knows those things that humankind has yet to discover. This knowledge is absolute and unacquired. The omniscience of God means that He has perfect knowledge, perfect understanding, and perfect wisdom as to how to apply the knowledge.

God Bless.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7364445161929182611.post-34068558365851136752019-02-27T13:54:19.656-08:002019-02-27T13:54:19.656-08:00Greetings Scott

He makes His abode in us is a figure of speech… He lives in us via the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. Of whom is selfless, therefore will not speak of Himself, but only make Jesus real to us….This is why Jesus said it is expedient that He should go away so the Father should send the Comforter………………Willie & Bonnie

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7364445161929182611.post-19516833361030715052019-02-07T09:31:02.940-08:002019-02-07T09:31:02.940-08:00Thanks for posting this. A plurality being necessary in order "to love" is an interesting concept that I have not considered before.

As it pertains to "time" though, I am pretty certain that "time" is connected to "matter" as relativity suggests. This does not inculcate the idea of "time travel" due that "time dilation" only relates to the passing of time, not its reversal.

Two objects experience the passing of time (relative to themselves) different as it relates to their momentum relative to each other. The Hafele–Keating experiment back in 1971 appeared to demonstrate this and thus confirm Einsteins predictions. The experiment has been repeated several times with even more accurate equipment verifying the original results...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hafele%E2%80%93Keating_experiment

This is why two photons moving in opposite directions from a common point of origin cannot exceed the speed of light relative to each other.

If time relates to matter (and therefore gravity) and God pre-existed matter (and gravity) then it would appear to place God outside of time as we know it.

Now this also goes much deeper in that how do we conceive actual"thought" or "thinking." I suspect our physical brains are more a conduit to the eternal in some manner wherein we have an opportunity in the physical to "program" (so to speak) our spirit through the choices we make. Once we shed the physical I suspect we lose this ability.

Of course I am just speculating and reasoning on the basis of an incomplete data-set and thus am not dogmatic. I do find this sort of thing interesting though.

I tend not to look at the "Father" as a "person" but as something far more incomprehensible which is why we need the Word which became a quickening spirit.

I find it interesting how Jesus both spoke of the Holy Spirit as a separate entity and as Himself.

Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Joh 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Of course the Holy Spirit was "in" Jesus and therefore dwelt with the apostles, and yet Jesus claimed "I will come to you."

I think our limited understanding and comprehension prevents us from being dogmatic as it pertains to issues that deal with the so called "God-head).

Scott.
Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07283437669179572140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7364445161929182611.post-77973590981913914462019-02-07T06:56:54.611-08:002019-02-07T06:56:54.611-08:00in conclusion: God knows all that can possibly be ...in conclusion: God knows all that can possibly be known, and reacts to mans freewill choices, and can make very accurate predictions based upon His prior experience and involvement with him....No one has suffered and been in grief and sorrow more than God has..It truley has broken His heart. It is expressed in scripture by God that what have I done to cause you not to love me? Have I been unfaithful, a tyrant, unreasonable? Yet little tiny man in his prideful ways responds by saying "dont bother us, we are to busy creating evil. Thus God reduced His expectations after the flood because man is evil FROM his youth (from the age of accountability), and HE promised Noah that HE would not again destroy the world until the last day. HE even put a rainbow in the sky to REMIND HIMSLELF of His promise to Noah......Willie & BonnieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7364445161929182611.post-8202357688298981012019-02-07T06:38:17.770-08:002019-02-07T06:38:17.770-08:00God ""is love"" and everlastin...God ""is love"" and everlasting through the measurement of time. He was love before the world was. Knowing this truth first; it requires MORE than one person to love. Yet God was love before the creation came to be..knowing this truth second; the three members of the God Head bear witness in heaven. It takes MORE than one person to confirm witness. (that's Bible 101). Therefore, there had to be more than one person giving witness of the creation. Not more than one God, but rather more than one person.

God= authority, and God IS love These are the Father, the Word that later became flesh, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one in principle, righteousness, and unity..This is why the Son prayed to the Father that the believers should also become ONE with He and the Father in John 17. (the ONEness means to be unified in covenant liken to the Son and the Father)

If we replace the term God with Authority it becomes easier to comprehend this truth>>>God = authority, and God "IS" love

Side Note: the "out side of time" myth was an invention that came from the mind of Plato; however is found nowhere in the text..."Time" is simply a measurement, and not a thing to be created> a simple by product of sequence and activism, (coherent thought requires sequence), all there is is presentism. Nothing can exist anywhere other than in the present...This is why all of Einsteins vain time travel theories are false, and all time travel movies fail miserably, and can easily be unraveled by God given logic. There is nothing to travel trough, not even God can go back in time, nor go into the future. He exists only within the eternal present...God sees the past perfectly, looks, learns, and sees all things in the present. HE can only see all things as REALITY...However portions of the future are still open because of mans freewill, therefore possibilities are not certainties, and that's REALITY..Notwithstanding, God's determined prophecies will manifest. Before Mike passed away I was presenting and discussing these truths with him, and he was slowly piecing together the truth of this matter. He was beginning to comprehend that God didn't actually know all things from eternity past like Augustine,Luther, and Calvin taught. It all came from Plato. No suprise there, almost all beliefs in Christianity came from the mind of Plato and infused in Christian belief by Ambrose/Augustine. Even most all the supposed early church fathers were students of Plato and riddled with errors..

The God head consists of three individual personalities which ahve a covenant of love among themselves. Their commitment is so strong that it is impossible for one of them to lie..Or as Solomon said; a threefold cord is not easily broken..

There are 4 kinds of prophecies in the text
1) Determined prophecies
2) Conditional prophecies
3) Extrapolated prophecies
4) Parallel prophecies

be blesses always, Willie & Bonnie Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7364445161929182611.post-10201687933066057582016-11-10T20:43:00.519-08:002016-11-10T20:43:00.519-08:00I appreciate this post - There was a reason why Go...I appreciate this post - There was a reason why God was angry with Israel when they asked Aaron to make an image to worship God through. Yes...wow great.. i have been saying this all along. Yeshua Jesus is not a separate person but a manifestation of God himself. He is the image of God meaning " What we mortals see because we are flesh and human." He is the God Man so much so that he can understand now our humanity as God himself. The trinity doctrine leads people to think of three separated entities somehow which is not healthy nor scriptural. God is one with different aspects and manifestations. God can show himself in various forms all at the same time everywhere in the universe all at the same time. If not our God is too small.
